Journaling slows us down long enough to savor even the chaos of life.
Journaling helps us tokenize internal and external moments into writing, doodles, pictures or lists as a way to help us remember what brought meaning to our day.
Journaling helps us process internal “stuff” in order to live out a fuller life. If you are backlogged with thoughts, feelings, ideas, or experiences unwritten, then your outer world starts to fuzz with gray and blur with meaninglessness mess.
Sojourner, continue reading, but if you would like more in the way of daily journal prompts, then join my paid subscription - so far, I have 2 sojourners and I’m proud to walk alongside you in the heat of the day.
I’m sure many more will join. I’ll do my best to summon insightful questions that spotlight your feet so you make many discoveries of your inner world.
I’ll use methods such as tabletop roleplaying games, hospice work, The Artist’s Way books by Julia Cameron, archetypes and myths, tarot, astrology, eleMental wellness and any more storytelling tools that I find along the way.
I’ll post examples from my own journaling.

List 3 benefits to my interface “front porch” and then list 3 drawbacks of those benefits. Strive for the middle way.
Simple Journaling
Insight - this is just pure intuitive, free form writing, getting all the mess on the paper.
Question - this refines my purpose by asking my self a question - principle: hide nothing from the self.
Action - or more accurately “dirAction” - a direction I am now facing since I journaled. What step can I take today to go that way?
