How to support the podcast

I love to think about energy, and more importantly about where I invest my energy.

Everything from the tiniest cell to the biggest star is made up of energy. And that energy is constantly in motion. When I am making decisions in life, I consider the resources available to me in categories of energy. For a simple layout, I divide them in to the following categories.

• Spiritual Energy or Wisdom

• Relational Energy or Friendship

• Physical Energy or Time/Health

• Intellectual Energy or Creativity

• Financial Energy or Money

These categories help me understand where I need to invest more in life and where I am satisfied. The energies can also be transferable (in a wild and magical way) into other categories of our lives.

When considering where to invest your energy, consider that you have already read this far and spent time. There are other energies to give towards Sojourners Awake, including money. My players give their intellectual energy, or creativity. Everyone can give in their own way but here is the amazing thing:

When you give, you also receive and when you receive you have more to give.

It’s a grand cycle and one I love not only to think about, but to honor in my life.
