Hello Sojourners!

I started working with Viking Goods T Shirts! I honestly love the designs - very fantastic and Celtic with a little whimsey - a lot like my D&D games.

When I bought my first shirt, the Celtic Tree of Life, I wore it on a casual day. It so happened that I scheduled myself to pick up some friends from the airport. When I arrived, I (haha!) realized this was a highly regulated military base.

I am very creative, but I forget to do things like keep my insurance cards around, or even keep my license plates up to date (I know, cast your judgement). However, in talking with the guard, he didn’t seem to judge, and went with his gut in allowing me into the facility. Eventually, between negotiations, he allowed a text message from my friend to count as evidence for me to enter legally. Awesome, I’m in the clear.

However, when I turned away, he called out to me.

“Hey”

I turn around, wide eyed.

He shows me his tattoo on his arm - the Celtic tree of life

“Nice T Shirt", and cracks a wry smile.

“Thanks brother,” I smile back and give the shaka sign.

Natural 20 on a charisma check!!! I’m keeping this t shirt for good luck. I will make sure to show it off to you next post - along with some other items.
